1、absolve（vt） ～ sb from/of sth 开脱某人（的罪责），宣布免除某人（所受的责难）
The court absolved the accused man。法官判决被告无罪。

★ exonerate（vt）（尤用于被动语态）宣布某人无罪过 ～ sb from sth
He was exonerated from all responsibility for the accident。已确定他无须对事务负任何责任。

2、bias（n）偏见，成见，偏心。
